Warehouse Conversion​

JCA were asked by a leading engineer to create a new agile work space in an existing industrial shed. 

The simple portal structure presented a blank canvas to create a flexible space. The brief included private meeting pods for intensive work and a town hall space for events and social gatherings.

The aesthetic of the fit-out referenced the industrial nature of the space. A palette of expanded metal mesh, polished concrete and plywood contrast the exposed services, characterised by the use of brightly coloured textile air socks to to heat and cool the space.
